On April 8th Bill Bongle, a drone flight instructor and owner/operator of Titletown Drones, will provide an introduction to the world of Unmanned Aircraft, often referred to as “drones”. His presentation will provide a brief overview of the regulations which apply to recreational and commercial drone operators, as well as upcoming changes in drone regulations and the impact these changes will have on the national airspace system.
Drone sightings near airports and manned aircraft are a serious concern to everyone. With the variety of the drones available to consumers, it is helpful to see examples up close. The presentation will include a display of some of the most popular drones on the market and an explanation of their capabilities. Bill will also discuss the latest technological advancements and how drones are being used for public safety.
